“I’m the parent. You come here.”

There’s a reason this is not your season; and it’s not to punish you. It’s meant to pull you away from what you want and push you even closer to God. I remember as a child calling out to my mother. She would answer “what do you want?” And I would say, come here I need you. Yet I remember her replying, “You come here. I’m the parent.”
